Man killed in ICE-involved shooting in Biddeford

An ICE officer fatally shot a 26-year-old Colombian man in Biddeford, Maine, during what the agency called an enforcement operation tied to a final removal order; immigrant rights groups say he was authorized to work in the U.S. and had a Social Security number, and the Maine Attorney General's office has not released evidence supporting ICE's claim that he drove toward the officer. It is the second fatal ICE shooting in less than a week, after Lorenzo Salgado Araujo's killing in Houston on July 7.
