Trump administration asks Supreme Court to intervene to allow mail-in voting restrictions

The Justice Department escalated its fight over Trump's executive order restricting mail-in voting by formally asking the Supreme Court to let the order take effect nationwide before the November midterms, over the objection of 23 states.
